Teacher's
Day falls on the Tuesday of the first
full week of May (in United States). On this
day, we thank our teachers for making us what
we are today and recognise their tremendous
contribution to society.
Teacher's
Day was first celebrated in the United
States on March 7,1980 after interim political
debates initiated by Mrs Mattye Whyte Woodridge,
a teacher in Arkansas. |
